Vapor Intrusion Testing - California Human Health Screening Levels (CHHSL’s)

Optimal Technology is a California state certified mobile laboratory and can conduct vapor intrusion testing for risk assessment. We can achieve detection limits with our mobile laboratories that are below the Residential Land Use CHHSL’s.

We have seen a recent increase in the need for soil vapor testing to assess the possible risk of vapor intrusion. Many risk assessments are based on the California Human Health Screening Levels (CHHSL’s) for Indoor Air and Soil Gas. The CHHSLs require detection limits that are far below the previous standard used in soil vapor testing.

Designed for efficiency and accuracy, our mobile laboratories have state-of-the-art laboratory grade equipment for soil gas testing in the field. Each lab is self-sufficient providing their own electric power for the hydraulic probe emplacement system and analytical instrumentation.
